Bridge International Christian Academy is committed to enrolling a talented and diverse student body and seeks students who aspire to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and active participation.  We never want to turn anyone away from the BICA experience because of an inability to pay for the full cost of tuition. Therefore, a scholarship program has been created to help children who require financial assistance.  A Charles and Beth Avery Scholarship or Award is awarded to the successful applicants who participate in the Daniel Saturday School, Summer Camp, or Wednesday After-school program. Each Scholarship or Award is granted for one semester.  Students must reapply for any additional semester. 

(1) MK Scholarship: Awarded to the student whose parent or grandparent is a full-time Christian missionary, a minister in a small church or the spiritual formation director of BICA. Full or half tuition scholarship will be offered depending on the financial need of the family.  Applicant must submit:

  • An application
  • A copy of a letter verifying the parent's ministry

(2) Financial Aid Scholarship:  Based on the income of the student's parents. Full or half tuition scholarship will be offered to any student who qualifies for the free or reduced price lunch program, or meets income-based criteria (see  Applicants must submit:

  • A copy of the eligibility letter provided by the school district verifying the family qualifies for the free or reduced price school lunch program 

(3) Exemplary Attitude Award: (6th~12th Grade only) Awards in the amount of $50 may be given to the middle school or high school student  who exemplifies positive community spirit and demonstrates high academic achievement. A maximum of two awards may be granted per semester.  Applicants should first review the Letter of Recommendation Guidelines, and then submit:

  • An application
  • Evidence of community and volunteer work 
  • Two personal recommendations from non-family members,  one must be from a teacher
